How to Track Your Shipment Between Nigeria and the UK

Not knowing where your shipment is can be stressful. At ABDM Freight, we provide stage-by-stage tracking so you always know exactly where your cargo is, from collection in the UK to delivery in Nigeria and vice versa.

Every shipment is assigned a unique reference number in the format ABDM-2026-XXXXX. This is your tracking ID — use it on our website at abdmfreight.com/track to see your shipment's current status. No login is required for basic tracking, so you can share the reference with your receiver in Nigeria too.

Sea freight shipments go through up to 13 tracking stages: Booking Confirmed, Collection Scheduled, Collected, Received at Warehouse, Customs Export Cleared, Loaded on Vessel, In Transit, Arrived at Destination Port, Customs Import Clearance, Cleared for Delivery, Out for Delivery, Delivered, and Completed.

Air freight shipments have a similar but faster progression through 12 stages. The key difference is the transit phase — instead of weeks at sea, your cargo is in flight for hours, with tracking updates at the departure airport, in transit, and upon arrival.

You'll receive automatic email notifications at every stage change. These include the new status, a timestamp, any relevant notes from our operations team, and estimated dates for upcoming stages. If there's a delay or issue, we proactively notify you with an explanation.

For customers with an ABDM account, the customer portal at abdmfreight.com/portal provides a comprehensive view of all your shipments, invoices, and booking history. You can book new shipments, view invoices, and manage your account all in one place.
